About Us

It was in September 1997 that the former Sixth Form College Festival Choir disbanded.  Forty or so of its members then bravely formed Worthing Choral Society under a very young conductor Ben Costello.  From that time on the choir has continued to flourish, under Adrian Bawtree from 2004 to 2009 and then under its current conductor Aedan Kerney.

We are a mixed-voice choir based in Worthing, West Sussex. We give at least three concerts a year, mostly in Worthing performing with professional orchestras and soloists of the highest calibre.  Our concerts cover a wide range of music from Tudor times through to the present day, including new works.

We are friendly choir of about 80 singers and welcome new members.  Please browse through our website to find out more about us.  We normally rehearse at Broadwater Church of England Primary School, Worthing, BN14 7QT, on Tuesday evenings.
